Happy New Years!  Here we are in the year 2010.  It seems like every year goes by just a little bit quicker.  That is why we need to think about what is really important and set our mind to do it.  Living Word is encouraging everyone to have a Bible reading plan this year.  Our goal this year is to read the New Testament.  That is only about one chapter a day, five days a week.  We have that plan listed under the "resources" tab. 

 

We also want to take the first week of the year and devote it to prayer.  At Living Word, we are keeping the church open for extended hours (email me for times....tim.skolrud@lwcc.net) to allow people a place to come and pray for our church.  If you can come we have a free gift for you.  We have 50 copies of our prayer journal to give to those that like to write down their thoughts as we read through the New Testament this year. 

 

If you don't have a church that you attend regularly, I invite to to come and check out Living Word.  We are an imperfect group of people on a journey with God.  We meet together to encourage each other.  If church frightens you.... I invite you to check out our services online.  We stream our gathering "live" on this website so you can check us out before you visit.
