Music... It seems that everyone has a preference. It is our belief that it is the words that give the song meaning. So any style of music with words that point us toward God would be music that is acceptable.

Because we are a young church, we have chosen a contemporary style of music that would fit with the average age of a person that lives in Silverdale. Teenagers and children are very important to us. We often have young people join us on our worship team, or use them to play a special musical number. Teaching them at a young age that it is good to follow God and that you are never too young to worship God. The Bible tells us to worship God like this:

Psalms 150:1-6
Praise the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise him with the strings and flute, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD.
